Easter

Norah was so excited this morning. She came over to our bed in the early morning hours saying "the easter bunny left a chocolate in my bed". But she didn't mind getting in bed for some cuddling until it was daylight. Then, she was up and at em. Norah loved searching for the chocolates and surprises. At one point she said "That Easter Bunny........he's so kind". She was very kind as well readily offering her peanut butter cups to me. She had so much fun that when the hunt was all done I hid some of the eggs again. She loved hunting again, singing "a hunting we will go".

Who eats chocolate for breakfast? Norah does.....but only on Easter Sunday.......don't get any ideas Nanny and Poppy:O)

The Easter Bunny WAS health conscious as he also brought non chocolate treats. Various eggs that expand into different shapes sponges and chicks. Norah really enjoyed this!!!

And......she love, love, loved her new bike!!!

Little Rusky missed out on the egg hunt as he was sleeping in!!!! He hasn't been feeling well. I actually had to go wake him up at 8am.

We went for a walk to try out the new bike. Norah was a pro!! She was zooming along. We could barely keep up! Just look at that smile!!!

Then, we had a picnic lunch at the park. We had such a great time playing on the equipment, watching the ducks, and talking about nature.

In all, it was a great day!

To top it off, Norah and Russell were both asleep by 8pm.
