We all know that Norah loves tractors. Now we also know that Norah is fascinated with garbage trucks. This afternoon we took a walk to the park - it was a beautiful day - and while we were there we could hear the rumbling of a garbage truck in the distance. Norah was intrigued. So we took a little walk to find it. When we did find the truck Norah stopped dead in her tracks and pointed. There was no way she was going anywhere. So we watched the garbage men for a while. We waved at them, clapped for them, and told them them were doing a great job! They beeped the horn for us. As they drove away, Norah wanted to follow them!
Overall, it was a great day. I think Norah said "hello Mommy" today. She is calling me Mommy more than Meem nowadays. We read a lot of books, finger painted/colored, played in the tunnel, popped bubbles, and took a trip to Zellers to buy a few things for our trip. Norah had a great nap and went to sleep pretty easily tonight. Now Brian and I are relaxing together in front of the TV....enjoying the beginning of our vacation! Ahhhhh......it feels great!
