Egg-cellent Easter

We are here at the cottage for the Easter Weekend. So far, it has been a great weekend. On Good Friday, we woke up at the usual time, 7am, and opened our cards from Nanny and Poppy. Norah giggled at the reference to "oopsy daisy" in her note from Nanny and has been since using the phrase. Norah also wanted to look at the photo album to see Nanny. She was smiling and giggling while looking through the album:)

We headed out to the Easter Egg hunt at 10am. Pat and Max joined us as well. We had an eggcellent time! Norah saw Clifford there. She was giving him high 5's, hugged him, and was following him around. There were pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, craft area, mazes, I can't remember all of the activities - it was a kid's heaven. There was a special area for children under 3 and that was where we spent most of our time. They had inflatable ball pits, tents, tunnels, and a parachute. Norah joined right in on the activities. Norah also got to see a fire truck and have a pony ride! I'll post pics later.

We headed up to the cottage later in the afternoon and arrived at dinner time. We ate, had a bath, and when Norah went to sleep Brian and I watched Twilight. It is an awesome movie!!!

So far, we have spent Easter Saturday playing in the sand at the beach and participating in a Port Franks' Egg Hunt. Norah had a fantastic time at the egg hunt -not so much hunting eggs but playing on the awesome playground that was there. I think we will head back to the playground after Norah's nap!

Norah is now sleeping. Brian is reading a magazine enjoying the quiet time. Hope your Easter weekend is equally as "Eggcellent" as ours has been so far.
