Norah is transitioning to the toddler room and spent the majority of the day in the toddler area. It is an exciting and somewhat sad time as we will be saying good bye to Natalie, Melissa, and Luke, Lily, Cameron and N'Taya. However, the director of Kid's Stuff told me that Norah has already connected with a special friend named Reilly in the toddler room. And, Norah is familiar with the new caregivers and kids in the toddler room from previous contacts. Actually, I've been told that Norah knows the names of all the staff at Kid's Stuff and will say hi to individual staff when they visit the infant room. Too funny! Regardless, Natalie and Melissa will be spending time with Norah in the toddler room to help ease the transition. So far, so good. The nice thing is that Kid's Stuff is flexible and works with the child's individual needs - there are no time frames or dead lines. So, we'll see how it goes. The daily report today is from the perspective of the new caregivers to be: Sanscia and Anna (Can you believe Norah can say Sanscia? I even have trouble with that one!)
Daycare daily report: Norah had a really good day visiting our room today. She played with the kitchen centre toys, the animals, and she even helped us plant sunflower seeds today in a pot. Great day, Norah!
